RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
In order to improve our design from the previous year's, many hours of research are necessary to ensure we reach our goals
DESIGN
It is a complex process to design a small-scale Formula racing vehicle. We must improve aspects of the previous year's model whilst staying within the guidelines of the Formula SAE Rulebook.
FUND RAISING
In order to build our vehicle, various methods are used to acquire the necessary funds
MANUFACTURING
After making a full CAD model and running various simulations, we begin the manufacturing process. Most of it is done in our student machine shop and anything that we are unable to do is taken care of by our generous sponsors.
TESTING
In order to optimize our vehicle, we subject it to various static and dynamic tests. We collect and review data and make adjustments. As the old saying goes, leave no stone unturned.
COMPETITION
The event we spend all of our time preparing for. Our vehicle is entered into a series of events and is judged based on its design, cost, and performance by professionals in the industry.
