BEYOND THE RACETRACK

Our community is massively important to us. Multiple times per year, we participate in various outreach events around Miami in hopes of educating people about our club and answering questions related to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). Listed below are some of the events we participate in.

CARS AND COFFEE

Once per semester, Panther Motorsports hosts whats called "Cars and Coffee." It is a public event where people bring their vehicles to FIU to showcase them and interact with fellow car enthusiasts. We We bring out a DJ, food vendors, and even do a "best in show" contest, where the winner receives a custom plaque created by members of the team.

ENGINEERING EXPO

The Engineering Expo is the college’s premier community outreach event organized annually and welcoming over 1,000 elementary, middle, and high school students from Miami-Dade and Broward County schools. This event provides exposure to science and engineering for local students, and encourage them to consider a career in STEM.

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL VISITS

Elementary school career days are a great opportunity to inspire the youth. Here we display our car, allow the students to hold some of our 3-D printed parts, and answer questions relating to Panther Motorsports or automobiles in general.

MIAMI DOLPHIN STEM DAY

The Miami Dolphin STEM day is a unique experience for locals to come learn about science, technology, engineering, and math. Last year, Panther Motorsports had the fortune of being able to turn on the car and do a live demonstration of its performance at the event.
